History

On June 27, 1890, a group of German Lutherans gathered in Knipfer Hall on Briggs St. to celebrate Holy Communion led by the Rev. August Brunn. That group grew into the German Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Unaltered Augsburg Confession (U.A.C) in September, 1893.

Although now with different name and building, Trinity Lutheran Church, U.A.C. belongs to that lineage and tradition of the original 1890 Lutheran congregation, still celebrating Holy Communion,  Baptizing, hearing God’s Word preached in our midst, and joyfully receiving the forgiveness of sins through this Word and Sacrament ministry.

In the 21st century, we continue to preach the risen Lord Jesus Christ who was crucified for our sins and the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2).

Come worship with us on Sundays at 9am.
